J. Blundell & Sons, which is directed by Mr. K. F. Blundell and Mrs. B. A.
MacConnol, was first established by their Great Grandfather, John Blundell, in
1839, in Dean Street, Soho. In 1899, John Blundell moved his business to premises
in Wardour Street. The building was constructed to his own specification and
incorporates a factory, shop and offices. Blundells made it's latest move in the
summer of 2004, moving to Hatton Gardens.
Today, the smelting side of the business entails the refining of all types of Silver,
Gold, Platinum and Palladium. Over the counter in the shop, and via a fast postal
service, all types of Silver, Gold, Platinum sheet and wire, as well as, a large
selection of jewellery findings are sold to the trade and the general public. |
